How do I add a new adlink?

There is a blue button on the main options page just after logging in. It is about at the middle of the page on the left side. Click it and follow the instructions.

Why did my ad link dissappear from the live pages after I edited my link?

If you change your link to a url that has not yet been approved for display on this site, it will not appear again till that domain has been approved. This is to keep some control over what content we allow linking to.

How do I get my url for my ad placed elsewhere?

To get the URL for your ad placed elswhere, all you need to do is to open another browser window and go find your ad. Once you have found it, put your mouse over the browser url field and perform a copy function from the edit menu.

With a pc just right click and select copy. Then go back to the Hot Media Deals window and paste the url into the URL field. As long as the Ad Link has been successfully submitted, test the link to see that it works ok. If not, either edit or delete the Ad Link to get the right result.

What if the manufacturer of my item is not in the list when I try to create my ad?

Go to the manufacturer link to submit a request for that manufacturers name. After you do that, then go back reload your page and continue placing your ad.

Why does my URL column have some of the links show up as being Off?

This is because the url which your ad is using has not been added to our approved url list. Once it has been added, the items will be automatically approved and they will show up as "on".

If it takes longer than a day for us to get it approved, your ad date will reflect the date it was approved. This way it will still get the full benefit of being a new ad as soon as it had been approved. You will be notified by email when it has been approved so you may come back and pay to have it appear on one of our homepages.
